தக்காளி சட்டினி
I was talking to a friend yesterday, and Vadivelu's line 'உனக்கு வந்தா ரத்தம், எனக்கு வந்தா தக்காளி சட்னி' came up, and I thought it'd be nice to write a short வெண்பா on this, for such silly things as this are not only fun, but also good practice for the rules. In a few minutes, I came up with தனக்கு உதிரேல் உதிரம் பிரற்கெனில் தக்காளி சட்டினி யாம் Avalokitam too said no objection, with a "இது இரு விகற்பக் குறள் வெண்பா". I immediately shared this with Veeba , the first person I ask for feedback, but he wasn't much impressed. When he suggested that I try to have some எதுகை if not மோனை, I had to admit that I couldn't think any further on this. He tried his hand on it, and just a moment later, he got back with எனக்கது வந்தால் இரத்தம் உனக்கது தக்காளி சட்டினி தான் While mine is more of a mind voice , his is direct.
